Are you just now starting a blog? Maybe you have had a free one and you are ready to move up to a self hosted blog through WordPress. You are considered a newbie because you are starting at the very beginning while the rest of us have had a blog online for years.

That’s okay though because you have to start somewhere and today is the best time for you to begin. Being a newbie is great unless you try to do it all yourself. Everyone needs help when they blog. Even the best of us have been known to be a part of forums and community blogs just to learn from others in the blogging arena.

Yes it’s best for you to keep a close eye on some of the best blogs on the web so that you can learn new tricks. Also I might add that it’s okay to start slow, but just know that it’s best to experiment with a new blog than an established blog, you never know who will be reading your blog while you make changes.

It’s also best to find a theme that suits your niche and one that entices your reader’s attention. Later on as your blog begins to grow you will want to switch over to a customized theme that has all the bells and whistles. I say later because if you start with a premium theme you may get confused and this may cause you to want to quit. So hang in newbie, and if you need help, give us bloggers a shout.
