Does your dog play with other dogs?
I have just come back from a walk with my dad and his two dogs and it got me thinking about dogs playing with other dogs, because my dads two dogs constantly play and chase together when on walks, whereas when I take my two out my Springer will constantly stay with me waiting for commands and what direction to hunt in and my mutt will either walk with me or go chasing squirrels.
My mongrel will play with other dogs occasionally but they tend to be Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Weimaraners, Mongrels or Lurcher/Greyhound/Whippet type dogs. And my Springer NEVER plays with other dogs, ever. Then at the end of our walks, as we come across the last field the two will have a good chase with one another.
So do your dog(s) play with other dogs, and/or have preferred play mates?
